Anxiety disorders can cause unintended disruptions that may greatly affect the way a person can go about life.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR for short, is designed to help people heal from the lifestyle affect and emotional distress resulting from traumatic experiences.
Grief and loss counseling is designed to help individuals who are experiencing deep sorrow and the death of a loved one.
Not every traumatic event causes PTSD, but you may still need help overcoming challenges that may arise. Traumatic events impact the ability to emotionally to move forward, resulting in a person getting stuck in some sort of belief/action process. Utilizing EMDR and mindfulness, trauma recovery therapy is designed to help you overcome these events.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can result after a person experiences a traumatic event. Our therapists are well equipped to help clients with PTSD.
Chronic and terminal illness therapy is designed to help you cope with the massive life changes that come with these diagnoses. Whether it is you personally, or a loved one that is diagnosed, therapy can help you gain the skills needed to take on a life transformation.
When major life events occur, the change that comes with them can be difficult to manage. From marriage, to child birth, to sudden loss of employment, counseling can help you work through the process of working through the event.
